My Fish pond

As a cat, I'm always peering into other peoples ponds to find swimming food, so I thought I'd find my cat spade and dig my own. Here's how ...




1. Find area of flat ground in a nice place

2. Start Digging

3. Cut thin turf border away

4. Line nicely shaped pond

5. Cover lining

6. Fill with water and cover sides with turf.

7. Put some plants in and wait for the fish!

skink

Heres a skink! The talls saw it while they were away (in a zoo of course) and showed me this picture to try and cheer me up. Huh! This must be what brave topsy chases. Not me! Well done topsy.

Imprisoned!

The talls have done it this time! They went away galavanting for a week! leaving me in a cage. Tiny it was and no means of escape. I'm back now but that was a surprise for me. It was so cold. Theres a fire on and a duvet at home they just transported my igloo. thats the only comfort i had. i tried to escape but i couldnt.

I’m white!

That’s strange. I woke up white! Well partly white on one side. Overnight! I wasn’t scared at all. Why should I be scared – the talls are only painting the skirting board, doors and stairs? Hmm… oh that’s interesting. Actually, they’re painting the exact same colour as I my new streaks. Strange coincidence. The talls washed me down which strangely felt quite nice. Its wearing off now.

Writing my blog

Heres a picture of me taking a break from writing my blog. I thought you may like to get an idea of how hard I work during the day. . No one understands why I sleep so much in the evening!

Snoring

Here’s what I’ve been doing since Xmas. I realise it has been a long time since I posted last but I had decided to give up all my vices for new year so I sneaked my way into a bedroom and found a place even comfier than cushions! Here I am below doing none of my vices.

Merry Xmas

Hello and Merry Christmas to everyone. It’s a time where talls become cats and lie around sleeping and snoring (can you believe I was accused of snoring earlier!). Pepperpot

Obviously in my four dimensional igloo I have cat everything. Incredible amounts of cat space with and in my cat kitchen I have a cat table and for cat breakfast I bought a new cat salt and pepper pot from a cat antique fair. What do you think?

sleep again

Well. Finally I think the human crazy fireworks season is coming to an end! I know the back of that sofa like the back of my paw. I've been wishing my igloo had a door - a lockable one. Rocket proof too preferably. Anyway I've started ventuing out in the dull weather a bit more now. next human silly event is xmas which means humans leaving food lying around for me to nibble. That may make up for the fireworks. Yum.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween. Here's a picture of a french black cat. Like me. Its not very scary nor very Halloween-y but it’s a nice picture. Halloween is derived from an ancient Celtic festival, Samhain. This was one of the Celts four 'Grand Sabbats' along with Candlemas, Beltane and Lammas. Samhain, on October 31st, marked the end of the pagan year and the beginning of winter. People don't celebrate Halloween very much here but its Christmas for black cats - Have a good time anyway. Mieow.
